  • Thank you Cindy

    My friend Cindy went though my other blog and found an old pic of me and then did a side by side of it!  WOW, I can't believe how much I have changed!!! 

    The cold weather has lifted and today was the first day I was back outside walking, however I had bought Leslie Sansome's Walk A Mile DVD.  So on my walking days when it was too cold to be out, I walked a mile in my living room!  YEAH me!!

    Here's the side by side!  The grainy pic of me in a dress was taken Oct. 2007, and the of course the other was taken last week.

  • It's the little things!

    Well I went and bought pantyhose the other day and was thrilled and I do mean thrilled---to find out I needed a smaller size!!  Isn't that WONDERFUL??????  I was really tickled!!

    I have not been exercising as I should since it has been cold.  (okay for us Texans it's cold) and it has been a struggle to get water down me.  However I am NOT giving up.  Not at all.....I am going to survive this and do this....

    One more thing, since last year I have actually lost a total of 35lbs....that is a lot and boy do I feel great about that!  It does help keep me focused!

  • I made myself do it!!

    Well I guess first you want to know how much we lost!!  I am only gonna post my loss--and make Becky post her own! LOL

    Drum roll please..........................................................


    I have lost 15lbs in 5wks.  I feel really good about that!  That is 15lbs gone!

    Yesterday I was exhausted.  I slept in until 11a--which I never do.  I didn't roll out of bed until 11:30.  I moved very slow and didn't get much accomplished.  I did walk to the mailbox, and by doing so, I talked myself into taking my walk.

    I made myself do it!!  It was NOT easy!  But I felt so much better after walking!  It was worth forcing myself into my teenies and out the door!  Honestly, it was!  It felt great to move.

    Today, its COLD! Very cold--very very very cold!  So I did not walk, but I pulled out my Tae Bo and did about 10-15min of it.  It kicked my butt!!  I am hoping around lunch time I can go walking.  Walking is so much more up my ally than Tae-Bo.  I need to look around for something I can do in the house for work outs!!

  • Well we go tomarrow and im  not excited  because i feel like i have not lost anything ...Maybe i have gained some!!!!!!!!!!EHHHH! i really hope not that will be a bumper! But we will see i will post how much tomarrow ! Cross your fingers PLease!!!

  • It's one of those days

    Well it's one of those diet/lifestyle days.  I guess I should call this a lifestyle as I don't plan on getting this fat again.

    I have been doing pretty well at drinking my water and walking.  Today, I had to run errands and missed walking here at the house.  I did however walk with a friend during my lunch break.  I also didn't get my 64 in.  I had been doing pretty well with getting it in.....even though it seems to kill me!  I am back home from work and I had teenager fill my cup up....I have only gotten in 10oz.  Sigh!  Oh well--tomorrow is a new day!!

    On my person blog www.xanga.com/toraanne I posted how yesterday I rode a bike!! YEP!!  I got on and petaled!!  Totally stoked about that!! Woo-hoo!! I was gonna by an adult tricycle to ride---they cost about $300 but I think now I will loose a bit more weight and buy a cheaper (MUCH) bike and ride with the children!!  This way they get out and about and I excercise more!!
